We are looking for a Health & Safety Co-ordinator to support our Construction Safety Team. The role is currently working from home with occasional visits to the Stratford office and construction sites.

The role reports into the Head of Construction Safety who manages a team of Construction H&S Advisors across inhouse developments, joint ventures and Major Works. Key working relationships will be with the H&S Advisors within the Construction Safety Team, the wider Corporate Health & Safety Department and with the Production Teams.

The H&S Co-ordinator’s main duties are as follows:

- To produce and maintain performance registers for accidents, near misses, hazard reports, claims, inspections; To request and chase accident investigation reports and log onto central system
- Maintain trackers of site inspections/visits by external consultants
- To produce monthly performance dashboards and distribute to key stakeholders
- To distribute both internal and external inspections & audits to relevant stakeholders
- To liaise with external consultants and schedule site visits accordingly and to share information with site teams
- To monitor the team mailbox and respond/distribute accordingly
- Additional ad hoc requirements by the business
- To cover for other H&S Co-ordinators as required
- Conduct and support others to deliver basic training on the process to report hazards using the Fieldview platform to site teams and refresh as required. To respond to any queries raised regarding the system and fault finding as needed. Setting up user accounts on the system. Liaise with Fieldview Helpdesk as required
- Co-ordinate and manage team calendar, taking of Team Meeting minutes, logging and monitoring actions on action tracker

Essential skills
- Fluent in Excel, PowerPoint and standard Microsoft programmes
- Ability to clearly communicate messages/instructions
- Ability to plan and manage workload to meet deadlines
- Ability to react quickly to ad hoc requests

Desirable skills
- Presenting/training both via Teams and face-to-face
