**THE ROLE**:
Shared Services Team Leader

Reporting into the Head of People Services you will work as part of a team and be responsible for the day-today management of our Shared Services Administrators. You will work to develop and maintain people administration processes ensuring consistency and quality.

**THE SALARY**:
Starting salary up to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.

**HYBRID WORKING**:
We operate a hybrid working environment for this role, meaning that you can spend part of your time working hours at home and/or part in the office at Gerrards Cross (SL9 7AP) and/or Gloucester (GL2 7ND). There will be a requirement to work from either of these locations at least twice a week.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITES**:
Lead the HR Shared Service Administrators responsible for the day to day management of the full employee life cycle, ensuring SLA's are met.
Lead team-level problem solving, generating ideas, suggesting improvements and taking ownership and accountability.
Ensuring self and team are acting as first point of advice and guidance to people, with regards to transactional processes.
Understand and influence people processes, ensuring managers are following and championing HR/People processes.
Facilitate liaison between payroll and People Services.
To ensure all new starter data is completed and relevant information held on the HRIS is accurate, ensuring appropriate pre-employment checks are compliant.
Monitoring quality of data and activity across the People Services Team, pro-actively identifying improvements to processes and procedures to enhance service efficiency.
Manage and own effective and timely on-boarding and off-boarding processes.
To be the first escalation point of contact for the People Services team.

**OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:
Qualifications. A Level 2 in English & Maths, CIPD Level 5 or equivalent (or comparable experience)

Experience. You will have experience of working in a Shared Services environment and have previous Team Leader experience. You will have knowledge and understanding on employment law and the ability to work in a fast pace environment, handling high work volumes in a calm manner. You will have the ability to resolve colleagues queries and issues and have keen eye for process improvement and different ways of working.

Communication. With excellent communication skills you will have the ability to professionally challenge strong opinions when required, show us that you have the ability to engage and communicate with audiences made up of a diverse background across all areas of EV Cargo.

Leadership. Lead and motivate and your team using proven coaching and mentoring methods and tools to help them develop. And have a good understanding of the various roles within the team to ensure that appropriate support is provided.

Influence & Persuasion. Strongly committed to organisational success you will take ownership of your team's performance, and take the lead on team-level problem solving, generates ideas and suggests improvements.

People & Self Development. Approachable in nature with the ability continuously review management information, processes and procedures, you will have the ability to lead, manage and motivate your team.

Financial Awareness. Able to understand and work within team SLA’s and able to adapt as and when required to meet the needs of the business
