Opportunities have arisen for reception co-ordinators to work across our Central London Urgent Care/ Walk in Services. These are:
- St Charles Centre for Health & Wellbeing, W10 6DZ
- Parsons Green Walk in Centre, 5-7 Parsons Green, London, SW6 4UL
- 1 Frith Street, W1D 3HZ, London, W1D 3HZ
This is is an exciting time to be part of our Urgent Care service team, which is Nurse led and delivers high quality unscheduled care; our service is undergoing exciting changes as we transform to best meet the needs of patients and local communities.

- Booking in appointments appropriately & according to the service triage guidance
- Ensuring that patients are treated with dignity and respect especially when they are conveying sensitive information
- Liaising regularly with the services nursing staff and clinical leads
- Being an effective member of the urgent care administrative team
- Ensuring all service data is inputted accurately and in a timely manner

- Responsible for preparation and the efficient day to day running of the services reception
- Provide a professional approach to welcoming patients, carer’s, staff, and visitors: signposting them to the relevant departments
- To ensure that on arrival patients’ records are updated appropriately and maintaining confidentiality.
- Ensure that patient appointments are booked appropriately according to their urgency and within clinic/specialty rules and standards
- To facilitate initiatives for communicating with patients who may need assistance due to cultural or language differences, as well as physical or cognitive needs.
- To oversee stock control, carrying out audits and overseeing deliveries
- To liaise with Estates regarding repairs if required.
- To liaise with IT department as required
- To ensure that security is maintained and that all maintenance issues are addressed promptly
