As the Head of Group Analytics Delivery, you will be a key member of the leadership unit within the Group Analytics Team at IQ-EQ and responsible for the delivery and continuous improvement of the analytical capabilities required to meet business needs. Working collaboratively across the team and wider business, you will help to set our analytics strategy and drive collaboration between departments to deliver against agreed objectives. Your strategic thinking will contribute to building a distinctive offering for IQ-EQ customers in addition to our overarching vision, by helping us identify ways in which different groups can leverage our insights together.

A strong leader with a proven track record of delivering high-performing solutions and driving continuous improvement with robust analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills, to be able to lead the execution of complex customer facing products and services. Key responsibilities include driving the performance of analytics solutions to impact overall business results; maximizing the return on investment from analytics using innovative and flexible approaches to achieve competitive advantage, both internally and externally; innovating with a strong focus on customer experience and product delivery; driving enterprise level leadership and governance in the area.

The Head of Group Analytics Delivery will be responsible for the optimization of our current departmental policies and driving initiatives that relate to department optimization. He or she is accountable for data-driven approaches to generate business insights. As a role holder, you will establish a robust, fit for purpose and flexible governance framework which allows for collaboration and communication across various functions. With your strong business acumen, you will lead initiatives relating to the optimization of existing departmental policies and drive initiatives that relate to department optimization leading to performance improvement across the business. The Head of Group Analytics Delivery also endeavours to create the means to allow for new data-driven approaches for the purpose of generating business insights through data analytics, information visualisation and addressing unanswered business issues in a proactive manner.

Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)

Primary Responsibilities:

- The Head of Group Analytics Delivery is responsible for refining and maturing existing delivery management controls, to ensure the analytics teams consistently deliver reliable, accurate, and efficient solutions for the global organization. The Head of Group Analytics Delivery will create, define and lead execution of delivery standard, processes and tool selection, ensuring all necessary controls, rules and guidelines are in place for team and partner effectiveness and efficiency.
- The Head of Group Analytics Delivery will be responsible for managing delivery of a large-scale best practice optimisation project across The Group by developing plans for delivery, assigning clear responsibilities and deliverables for various functions, and collaborating with stakeholders. The Head of Group Analytics Delivery will manage and oversee the required governance needed to monitor, control delivery for this project.

Other key responsibilities:

- Develop and execute a vision and roadmap for mature delivery processes, integrating new methods and techniques as appropriate in line with DGC priorities
- Define, track and report on analytics delivery metrics to provide insight and enable optimization
- Evaluate and manage the existing analytics tools, developing clear processes to ensure efficiency, reliability, and accuracy
- Manage the quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and quality control of deliverables
- Lead a team of professionals, providing support and direction in order to exceed the delivery and quality objectives
- Establish relationships with delivery partners and external vendors to maintain effective collaboration and service
- Assist in budgeting and other financial processes to ensure cost efficiency of services
- Actively participate in the strategy and design of analytics delivery models to improve business value
- Prepare and co-chair data governance committee sessions.
