Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)

Primary Responsibilities:

- Work closely with business partners to understand their needs and provide data-driven insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver core deliverables that span multiple functions
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and stakeholders and provide proactive support in line with agreed business requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new data-driven initiatives and solutions
- Lead or participate in special projects as assigned, such as workforce planning, data migration, system upgrades, or process improvements
- Proactively support business functions in considering analytic capabilities and best practice within change roadmaps

General team responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using PowerBI
- Perform data cleaning, analysis, and modelling using Alteryx and other tools
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights from large and complex data sets
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve data quality, integrity, and efficiency
- Conduct regular data quality checks and audits to ensure data accuracy and completeness, and make timely corrections as needed
- Continuously learn and stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in data analytics and business intelligence
- Present insights and analysis to internal stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis or related field
- Strong analytical skills in capturing and understanding detailed requirements
- Expertise in finance and accounting concepts
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Clear communication and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability towork with large and complex data sets
- Previous experience working on complex projects (optional)
