We are seeking a Sales Ledger Clerk to work for a growing manufacturing business. You will maintain accurate ledgers and assist with reports for management to support the delivery of financial information for the business.

This role will be working on Access Dimensions and their ERP system and you will also be assisting with commercial reporting.

You will be working either 08:00-16:00 OR 09:00-17:00 with a 30-minute lunch break and this will be an office-based role. School hours to be discussed for part-time working.

**As a Sales Ledger Clerk, your responsibilities will include**:

- Support with the preparation and analysis of daily, weekly and monthly reports for management.
- Daily Sales ledger tasks such as processing invoices and allocating payments.
- Maintain accurate ledgers by identifying and resolving unpaid balances.
- Daily transactional processing of bank transactions.
- Assist with month end and year end reporting including the statutory audit.

**We are looking for a Sales Ledger Clerk who has the following skills and experiences**:

- Previous experience of sales ledger in a similar role (manufacturing environment desirable)
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment
- High level of attention to detail
- Experience of accountancy software and ERP systems Microsoft Dimensions desirable)
- You will need to demonstrate excellent IT skills, with an ability to use Excel to an intermediate level (pivot tables / VLOOKUP’s - use not creation)
- Must be able to work using own initiative as well as being part of a team
- Professional attitude
- Numerate with the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally at all levels
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise to meet monthly deadlines
- Demonstrates a 'can-do’ attitude
