This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is seeking an opportunity to be an Administration Assistant within an innovative acute adult inpatient unit.

You will be joining an established team of Administration, within an up and coming mental health service. This multi-disciplinary Service provides assessment and interventions for adults with acute mental health needs.

This post will enable you to develop and understanding of working within the NHS, working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to gain the essential skills, knowledge, and behaviours for this role.

To provide and receive information accurately and in a timely fashion, including answering high volumes of telephone calls, processing of incoming and outgoing post, inputting of data / referrals.
To demonstrate competent interpersonal skills with staff, patients, carers and professionals on the telephone and face to face, providing routine information where appropriate.
To problem solve, dealing with enquiries effectively and responsively - redirecting if necessary / appropriate to do so.
To provide support to colleagues, both admin and clinicians as appropriate and when needed, this may include sending out appointments / letters / reports, supporting psychiatry, audio transcription, copy typing, scanning / uploading of documentation, inputting referrals onto systems.
