Procurement Officer

Conducting research to explore new product lines and potential suppliers; determining the quantity, type, range, and quality of goods or services to be purchased; Evaluating bids from suppliers, identifying suitable suppliers, and negotiating prices with them; assisting in negotiating contracts with suppliers, specifying the details of required goods or services; exploring ways to enhance supply; ensuring that delivered items align with the order; monitoring the quality of incoming goods, and handling the return of unsatisfactory or faulty items; monitoring supplier performance to ensure targets are met; supervising clerical, administrative, and warehouse distribution staff, and being involved in recruitment and training processes; collaborating closely with merchandisers to allocate stock and develop sales forecasts, maintaining records and preparing reports as needed. Work Hours: 39 hours per week. Annual Salary: £27400
