**JOB TITLE**:Accounts Administrator
**REPORTS TO**:Financial Controller
**LOCATION**: Sumo UK, Redgates Melbourne, York, YO42 4RG
**SALARY**:£20,000 - £23,000 DOE
**WHAT DOES SUMO DO?**
Sumo helps farmers lower input costs, improve yields & protect the environment using our range of efficient, British built cultivation and seeding farm machinery. At Sumo HQ we manufacture full machines, from cutting box and plate through to the final assembly process.
**ROLE OVERVIEW**:
Due to continued growth, Sumo UK is looking for an enthusiastic and trustworthy individual to join our company as an Accounts Administrator to provide support to the finance, production and sales departments. No experience required, full training will be provided.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Assist with Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger which could include:
- Processing purchase and sales orders using Sage 200
- Processing purchase and sales invoices using Sage 200
- Reconciling purchase ledger statements
- Reconciling credit card and bank statements
- Track employee clock-ins using the Time Management System
- Process employee’s annual leave forms using the Time Management System
- Set up new starter packs, including health and safety inductions for new employees
- Manage reception and look after visitors
- Track stock of office supplies and replace when needed
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required
**ESSENTIAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE**:
- Great communication skills - polite and professional
- Good computer skills essential
- Keen eye for detail
- Customer centric approach with a can-do attitude
- Excellent organisational skills
- Must be able to provide own transport due to site location
**DESIRABLE SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE**:
- Experience with Sage 200
- Good knowledge of working with Microsoft Excel
**WORKING SCHEDULE**:
- 40-hour weeks
