As a Planner and Scheduler you will be part of our Operational Support Team. Below is an outline of the of your main duties, relevant skills, experience, and training needed for the role:
**Main Responsibilities**:

- To work collaboratively with internal and external (e.g. local highway inspectors) customers / stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of the E2E processes
- Reviewing, validating and managing and preparing new work within the designated area of responsibility
- Maximise the productivity of the operations team by ensuring sufficient work is planned on a daily basis
- Assign & dispatch work to relevant operational teams
- Plan site surveys and/or customer warning card delivery activities, as required.
- Serve and manage permits for all metering work to progress from start to finish

**Relevant Skills and Experience**
- Excellent communication skills for regular interaction with internal staff, field representatives and external stakeholders
- The ability to effectively plan and organise your own work
- Effectively plan and allocate work to field resources within specific timescales
- You must be self-motivated, flexible and an enthusiastic team player with a positive can-do attitude
