Job description

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work in the streets and direct services department as a Contract Monitoring Officer. Ealing Council has a long-standing commitment to reducing environmental impacts and declared a climate emergency in April 2019. We are developing and implementing our plans to address the climate emergency.

As a Contract Monitoring officer, you will be responsible for monitoring the performance of contractors, providing contractual services in relation to any of the services managed and/or provided by Street Services, ensuring all services are delivered in line with key Council objectives.
- excellent communication skills
- an understanding of the principles and practices relating to Street Scene including Recycling of waste & street cleansing
- experience in a Street Scene environment delivering improvement projects.

This role is deemed customer facing and as such you must have a command of spoken English which is sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role. This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.
