**Role**:Accounts Assistant
**Contract Type**:Permanent full time - office based
**Salary**: Approx. £25k
**Location**:Bounds Green
Role:
- Ensure all sales invoices are printed ensuring all pages received have been captured
- Manually correct the input fields in the system if there are errors in the scanning
- Resolve issues relating to invoices within the system (placing on hold/ releasing from hold), escalating internally when required
- Chase debtors on a daily basis and update debtor spreadsheet with the relevant update
- Ensure all terminated contracts are on the system
- Process supplier invoices, credit notes, various sub-contractor documentation and supplier statements in line with the company policies and procedures with mínimal supervision
- Open and sort the post coming into the department
- Reconcile all the accounts at the start of the day
- Add all cheques received to the spreadsheet and deposit at the Bank
- Reconcile all accounts for Franchise every Tuesday and Thursday
- Perform MSF run every 14tha and 28th of the month
- Franchise orders sent to account to be placed with relevant supplies
- Ensure all escalated cases and agreed by management and out forward to Thomas Higgins
- Monitor any payments with respect to Thomas Higgins cases and ensure portal is updated
- Administration duties (example; resolve basic issues with scanners ,remove paper blockages, etc.)
- Propose changes to the logic applied to the CRM system for suppliers to improve character recognition
- Undertake any necessary training associated with the duties of the post and participate in training and development procedures
- Analyse processes into their constituent parts, identify problems and provide solutions
- Ensure telephones are answered in a timely manner
Skills required
- Experience with having used ERP / CRM systems
- Basic knowledge of principles, practices, regulations and procedures relating to Accounts Payable function will be an advantage
- Ability to operate in a service driven culture, continuously challenging and seeking to be better Good communication skills
- Good customer service skillset, going above and beyond the call of duty where necessary Committed team player
- Trustworthy, diligent and self-motivated
- Strong organisation and time management skills High level of inputting accuracy.
- Able to organise own workload and to reprioritise at short notice in order to meet deadlines.
- Able to break down processes into their constituent parts, identify problems and suggest solutions
