**365 Moto Updates Claims Handler**
**Company Overview**:
365 Moto Updates is accountable for efficiently handling accepted 365 New claims in alignment with agreed Targets & Objectives. We aim to ensure that our Non-Fault Claims (Updates) Team effectively meets Service Level Requirements and maintains quality levels as per the agreed Targets and Objectives.
**Main Purpose**:
As a 365 Moto Updates Claims Handler, you will be responsible for managing existing claims efficiently and effectively from the New Hires Team. Your role involves handling all defined claims tasks required for the 365 New Claims Team following hand-off from the sources.
**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Take a proactive approach to the role and handle complaints and escalations with sources.
- Adhere to Company policies and ensure targets and objectives are met.
- Encourage the sharing of technical knowledge within the team and across the business.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Treating Customers Fairly, DPA, Complaints, and FCA legislation.
- Handle complaints promptly and escalate when necessary to the Customer Services Manager.
- Ensure accurate and comprehensive data capture in Proclaim.
- Identify areas requiring additional training and actively participate in team meetings and assessment sessions.
- Represent the values and culture of the Group and engage in self-development.
- Undertake any other duties as requested by the Line Manager or other Senior Staff within the business.
**Knowledge and Experience**:
- Previous claims management experience is helpful.
- Good working knowledge of claims processes and procedures.
- Understanding of products, services, philosophies, systems, and organization.
- Knowledge of hierarchy and escalation protocols.
- Excellent technical claims knowledge.
- Strong IT skills (XLS) and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Display good time management skills and interpret MI to improve team and individual performances.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Ability to simplify complex issues and maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
