**Job Title: UK Sales & BD Representative**

**Reporting to Global Head of BD & Partnerships**

**Job Purpose**:
This role is responsible for delivering Powerledgers (PLs) short and long-term sales and revenue targets and establishing the PLs brand as a market leader in the UK and assigned geographies

**Responsibilities**
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets.
- Develop, maintain and manage an ongoing healthy pipeline of prospects as per targets.
- Market Leadership: working closely with the Head of Business Development and Partnerships, developing clear strategic and tactical implementation plans for meeting sales targets and providing a clear market leader for PL solutions in the UK and any other assigned territories.
- Coordinate, manage and be responsible for all relationship management with the institutions relevant to Powerledgers product and brand promotion.
- Prepare and present powerful, persuasive sales presentations that effectively demonstrate the value proposition of PL products and solutions and represent PL at key events, conferences, seminars etc as required.
- Government Sector strategic business: Identity, develop and maintain strategic business relationships across power sector and renewable commodity stakeholders including REC Registries and Tracking Systems, Green Power Markets, REC liquidity providers and key buyers, Utilities, Universities, Public Institutions such as Cities and local administration for appropriate alliances as well as business opportunities with institutions and corporates pursuing RE 100 / 247 CFE and decarbonisation opportunities

**Specific Measures of Success Expected Outcomes**

**Primary Measure**:

- Consistently achieve targets, KPIs and priorities each quarter.

**Other measures**:

- ** Qualify**, process and work on new and existing leads as agreed in KPIs and Objectives.
- ** Conduct** min target number of in-person meetings and teleconference meetings per month to discuss product fit, contracting and product deployment.
- ** Report** activities and update in Hubspot each week by 6pm US EST time each Thursday.
- ** Respond** to Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) within 24 hours of it being sent to you via Hubspot or through sales inbox.
- ** Be accountable** for working either alone, or alongside team members on projects that advance the business and its broader plans.

Developed negotiations and sales skills with demonstrable experience in the successful promotion of Environmental Products and Digital Marketplaces

- Team Player and ability to work across project teams

Tactical implementation of strategic plans

**Qualifications**:
Bachelors degree in Commerce, Economics, Engineering or other similar areas or a min of 7 years experience in sales or business development roles in the UK energy industry.

**Experience and Knowledge**:

- Prior understanding and hands-on experience in sales, business development or analytical roles in the Renewables, Environmental Markets or energy industry are desirable.
- Also desirable is a deep interest and knowledge of the Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) mechanism, ESG and experience in business development or policy roles in the deployment of new energy technologies in the UK energy markets.
