We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our team. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for contacting individuals and businesses to collect outstanding debts. Your primary goal will be to negotiate payment arrangements and ensure timely debt recovery.

- Contact individuals and businesses via phone to discuss outstanding debts
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with debtors
- Update customer records with payment information and progress
- Analyse financial statements and credit reports to assess debtor's ability to pay
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism
- Follow up on payment arrangements and ensure compliance
- Utilise accounting software for data entry and record keeping

- Telemarketing: Ability to effectively communicate over the phone and persuade debtors to make payments.
- Data Entry: Accurate and efficient data entry skills to update customer records.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse financial statements and credit reports to assess debtor's ability to pay.
- Financial Services Knowledge: Familiarity with financial services industry practices, including debt collection regulations.
- Phone Etiquette: Professional phone etiquette and excellent communication skills.
- Accounting Software: Proficiency in using accounting software for data entry and record keeping.
- Accounts Payable: Understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures.
