Our client provides a complete sales, maintenance, and repair and hire service, meeting the materials handling requirements of businesses throughout all Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire. We're working with them to recruit a Customer Service/Hire Desk Advisor to join their growing team based in Sheffield.
Main purpose of job:
- To plan, coordinate and monitor the provision and supply of consumables, spares and re-conditioned parts.
- To plan, coordinate and monitor the provision of in-house and site Service activities.
- To plan, coordinate and monitor the provision and supply of lifting equipment on a Hire basis
Duties to Include
- To answer calls, process customer enquiries and orders
- To plan and monitor on-site engineers and workshop Service activities.
- To verify on receipt purchased products/supplies
- To process the returns of products/supplies to the supplier
- To advise the Service Manager in the event of customer complaints
- Update customers on the diagnosis of breakdowns and solutions including costs incurred.
Experience Required
- A strong Administration background
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Organised and able to plan, be comfortable multitasking and switching between roles
- Experience of speaking with clients on the phone

Salary is £11ph and is paid weekly whilst on contract with ourselves.
