Edward Reed are searching for an experienced Revenue Manager to support the Commercial Director in a newly appointed role. Our client, a leading hospitality and leisure provider based in the North East is looking to expand its commercial team with an analyticalyet personable hire.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analysing booking patterns and market trends
- Implementing rooms revenue strategy
- Forecasting revenue performance
- To co-ordinate activities with Sales, Brand Marketing & Digital Marketing, M&E Sales and M&E Planning & Hotel Operations to define, implement and measure all commercial strategies
- Developing pricing strategies, including building rates for rooms and packages
- Provide weekly forecast of expected results, variances and budget comparisons and provides input for development of the overall market sales strategy for all departments
- Responsible for best practice standards to include: competitor analysis; distribution yield management; business mix yield management; length of stay yield management; inventory availability by channel; pricing control and new pricing concepts
- Management, training and mentoring of reservations and events teams members which include two direct reports
- Daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting

**Skills**
- Minimum of three years of revenue management
- Ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies
- Ability to analyse financial reports: P&L, forecasts, budgets, capital expenditure
- Effective influencing, consensus building and negotiation skills
