**About the Team**

The GBRTT Passenger Revenue team brings together a diverse group of individuals with backgrounds from across the industry, including Owning Groups, Train Operating Companies (TOCs), Transport for London (TfL), Network Rail and consultancies. The high-performing team provides expertise in revenue strategy, analysis and forecasting as well as insights, marketing, and brand. We are playing an increasingly proactive role in driving short-term revenue and planning for long-term revenue growth, enabling GBR to deliver a financially sustainable railway.

**About the Job**

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the team that’s focused on passenger revenue forecasting and insight. You will have the opportunity to provide expert input to industry-wide projects, such as the Fares, Ticketing and Retail programme, annual fares setting rounds and the Long-Term Strategy for Rail. As well as working with insights teams across the industry to re-establish the evidence base that underpins our understanding of rail demand and helps rebuild the forecasting framework post-Covid.

You’ll be able to build working relationships with multiple stakeholders in the rail industry such as within the Department for Transport (DfT) and have the opportunity to provide input into the design of GBR and the future industry commercial structure.

**What do we need from you**
- Experience managing a research budget and commissioning studies to gain valuable insight
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Good understanding of the commercial structure and current financial position of the rail industry
- Ability to work at pace and adapt to emerging priorities

This role is available on a **Fixed Term Contract** and **Secondment** basis for 12+ months.
