Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a reputable business in East Grinstead who are currently in search of a Company Secretary to join them on a part time permanent basis.
Key duties:
- Company Secretary/Company Accounts: _
- Putting purchase invoices on Accounts system and paying them weekly
- Putting sale invoices onto Accounts system
- Putting bank transactions on Accounts system
- Raising weekly and monthly reports
- Calculating staff monthly commission
- Processing monthly payroll (SAGE)
- Pensions processing and liaising with The Pensions Regulator and NEST
- Inputting petty cash on Accounts system
- Submission of quarterly VAT returns
- Complete annual insurance questionnaire
- Complete annual HMRC rental questionnaire
- Liaise with Accountants re company accounts
- Liaise with Bank/making bank payments
- Submitting annual confirmation statement
- Dealing with Company’s House filing
- Ideally also dealing with compliance as follows:_
- HMRC AML registration
- GDPR Compliance
- The Property Ombudsman annual membership
- Insurance renewals (Business and Professional Indemnity Insurance)
- Client work: _
- Putting bank transactions on Accounts system
- Providing customer ledgers on request
- Putting purchase invoices on Accounts system and paying them weekly
- Processing monthly payroll
- Inputting petty cash on Key
- Raising electricity & water invoices on Key - quarterly
- Liaise with accountants re year end accounts
- Providing quarterly reports for trustees
- Accounts paperwork Filing
- Dealing with returns for clients where we are company secretary
