Spa Reception Supervisor

**POSITION PURPOSE**
The Reception Supervisor is required to support the Spa Management team to ensure the smooth running of the department on a day-to-day basis. The Reception Supervisor will be a champion in providing guests with a luxury spa experience that exceeds expectations. Working closely with the Spa Manager, ensuring that all operational procedures, codes of conduct and standards of appearance as laid down by the Spa Manager are implemented and adhered to by all reception staff.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- Ensure the smooth running of the department and acting as Spa Manager on Duty when on shift in the absence of the Spa Manager and Assistant Spa Managers.
- To welcome guests and answer all enquiries with patience whilst observing set standards.
- Have a complete knowledge of the treatments and services offered and any promotions that may be on offer at the time.
- To ensure bookings are made to maximise the business and aim to give all clientele the best possible service
- Organise scheduling to maximise the use of time and ensure maximum profitability whilst ensuring that the client's needs are of first importance.
- Promote and sell services of the Spa and maximise the potential of all sales ensuring that a warm and friendly welcome is given to clients at all times.
- Be an expert on all Forbes, Brand and Standard Operating Procedures and deliver all Spa services in line with the standards ensuring that all resort, Forbes and Health & Safety procedures and guidelines are adhered to by the Reception team.
- To be responsible for the recruitment, induction, training, development, appraisal and discipline of all Reception staff.

**CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION**
- Must be eligible to live and work within the UK.
- Communicate effectively and clearly, using positive speech and body language at every opportunity.
- Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks
- Must be able to demonstrate a professional manner at all times, particularly concerning interactions with guests and fellow associates.
- Must have strong personal management skills.
- Must be willing to adhere to immaculate grooming policy and strict uniform standards.
