We are looking for a Service Receptionist to provide a friendly and professional welcome as the primary point of contact for our client’s dealership. Your main duties will include delivering a high standard of customer service to rigorous service standards.You will liaise with customers to accurately record information on a computerised Dealer Management System and book in vehicles for repairs, servicing, and MOT’s.

**Northampton - Monday to Friday, with every other Saturday**

**This role involves**:

- Answer the majority of incoming telephone calls to the site, using questioning techniques to ascertain requirements and transfer callers to appropriate colleagues where necessary.
- Ensure all customer bookings are consistently and accurately recorded and payment taken where appropriate.
- Proactively manage customer inspection schedules - liaising with the customer and workshop and managing the daily dairy.
- Work with colleagues to obtain authorisation from customers for repairs, and to keep customers informed of progress reports.
- Be flexible in your approach and be an effective team player for the development of both you and the business.

- Flexibility, being able to prioritise your own workload and support the team during busier periods.
- To be responsive and willing to learn, receive training, developing both yourself and those around you.
- Excellent relationship skills with both colleagues and customers alike.
- To be an excellent communicator with good listening skills and the ability to determine the core issue.
- The ability and motivation to work on your own initiative and operate with colleagues across multiple sites.
