**Your Job**

This role is a critical position to enable and advance the EMEA supply chain strategic use of External Manufacturing for Kimberly-Clark’s consumer businesses, working closely with the R&E, Procurement & business partners to provide project support and guidance for the new product projects and product improvement programs.

As our Contract Manufacturing Senior Ops Consultant you will build strategic relationships with key suppliers of finished goods and ensures ongoing cost, quality, service, and sustainability goals are met. You will also be responsible for leading and managing highly complex strategic programs from an end-to-end supply chain perspective (planning, procurement, 3rd party manufacturing, distribution & logistics, regulatory and quality) through existing and new external manufacturing partners.

**About You**

The role masterfully deploys all aspects of the External Contract Manufacturing (ECM) playbook and supply management such as but not limited to:

- Interpreting the needs of the business units by reviewing and understanding the business unit’s strategic plans, considering supply implications through regular participation in cross functional product projects
- Collaborate with procurement to support tenders and define sourcing strategies in alignment to business’ needs
- Support the make vs buy assessment, by providing expertise on supplier’s capabilities, capacity
- Support the new product plan development along with R&E, focusing on milestones and detailed timelines
- Deliver strong stakeholder management, influencing senior leaders through concise verbal and written reviews
- Ensure CFI compliance asset placement & tool write-off management
- Provide commercialisation management in coordination with Planning and Marketing, focusing on inventory pre-builds and transition inventory
- Provide supplier and product qualification/compliance in coordination with Quality/Regulatory
- Lead the cost management programs, support supplier performance management and deliver category strategy development along with Procurement

**What you’ll bring...**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Science / Supply Chain / Operations Management
- Extensive experience across supply chain, R&E and operations/manufacturing
- Expert project management experience driving complex projects engaging multiple internal and external functional teams to successful completion
- Effective and influential (written and verbal) communication in the English language
- Direct manufacturing or supply chain experience with externally produced finished goods
- External supplier management experience

**This role will be required to travel 15-30% regionally & internationally without supervision.**
