Senior Category Manager

Bramwith Consulting is currently seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to manage a team of 3x professionals and oversee all aspects of strategic sourcing and key supplier relationship management.
The ideal candidate will have strong procurement experience within CAPEX, MRO, Engineering Services or Direct Commodities and an industry background within Energy, Manufacturing, Engineering etc... or related field.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic sourcing plan in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholder groups, ensuring the delivery of goods and services that meet quality standards while being cost-effective.
- Manage procurement across both direct and indirect spend categories, identifying supplier initiatives and fostering strong relationships to optimize spending.
- Oversee key supplier relationships by conducting regular reviews and audits, ensuring contract terms are met, and maximizing value from each supplier partnership.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to enhance the impact of procurement activities and act as a point of escalation for any supplier-related issues or concerns.
Requirements:
- Circa £70,000 - £80,000 + £6k Car Allowance + 10% Bonus.
- A hybrid working structure of c.2x office days based out of either Surrey or Manchester.
