Are you passionate about the value of volunteering? Could you inspire, develop and manage our enthusiastic team of volunteers to talk to people in Wolverhampton about their experiences of using health and social care services? If yes, you could be part of our team.

**About Healthwatch Wolverhampton**

We are the city's independent health and social care champion. We believe that health and social care providers can best improve services by listening to people’s experiences, and we believe that everyone in society needs to be included in the conversation.

We listen to the issues that matter to local people and hear about their health and care experiences. As a statutory body, we have the power to make sure NHS leaders and other decision makers listen to public feedback and use it to improve standards of care. We can also help people find reliable and trustworthy information and advice.

**The role**

You will recruit, train and support our Healthwatch Wolverhampton volunteers who are our link to communities across the city. You will support them to engage with local people about their experiences of using health and social care services, represent us at events, make films and help us out in the office.

**Who we're looking for**

You will be someone who shares our passion and commitment for volunteering and have experience of recruiting and supporting a team of volunteers. You will have the ability to inspire and motivate people, including young people and understand the issues and barriers to volunteering.
