Job description

**The Legal Aid Agency**
We are an executive agency of the Ministry of Justice (MoJ). We are responsible for operationally administering the legal aid fund to provide criminal and civil legal aid advice to people in England and Wales.

**Contract Management and Assurance**
Contract Management and Assurance (CMA) work closely with our provider base to ensure the smooth running of our contracts and assure the delivery of legal aid.
**Provider Records.**
The Provider Records team is a Business-Critical team and an integral part of the Legal Aid Agency. They work closely within Contract Management & Assurance and with all areas of the Legal Aid Agency co-ordinating activity, ensuring all administrative processes are efficient and systems accurately updated in accordance with time standards.
**Job Summary**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ability to analyse provider change requests to identify areas of particular risk.
- Responsibility for risk management when updating Provider Records.
- Ability to work with agreed SLA’s and turnaround times.
- Responsibility for liaising with Contract Manager colleagues and providers (Solicitors & Advocates) to ensure provider records amendment requests are interpreted/applied accurately.
- Report progress on activity, including any issues which may impact quality or efficiency to Provider Records Team Leader and update monitoring tools/trackers/spreadsheets.
- Conduct Quality Control checks on the work of colleagues within the team and provide feedback in an appropriate manner.
- Acknowledge and respond to complaints in writing and, if required, escalate appropriately.
- Liaise with IT Service Desk concerning system issues.
- Ensure communication with all stakeholders is timely and effective.
