Warehouse Coordinator

Switchtec Ltd is a successful UK franchisee for world-wide manufacturers of quality components. We are a leading specialist in the supply of electromechanical, electrical, and electronic components.

As part of our continued growth, Switchtec is seeking to add a Warehouse Coordinator to its highly motivated team. We are seeking a motivated multi-skilled individual to join our team in a role that offers lots of varied responsibilities and an opportunity to make the role your own.

**The ROLE**

The Warehouse Coordinator role is to provide support to our Picking, Packing, dispatch and light assembly of our Electrical & Electronic components. The role will consist of warehouse duties including picking & packing, receipt & dispatch of goods.

**DUTIES**

Duties within the role will include overseeing and contributing to:

- Picking Packing and dispatch of Sales Orders
- Assembly of in house assembled products
- Packaging of goods to customer’s requirements/standards
- Relabelling of components
- Ensuring and maintaining stock accuracy
- Receipt of deliveries, goods and supplies
- Delivery and dispatch of goods
- Booking in Purchase Orders
- Ensuring that received goods are free from damage or items missing
- Perpetual Stock counting and Stock takes
- Storage of Stock, and ensuring it is stored correctly and safely
- Ordering of Warehouse consumables (Packaging Materials)
- Liaising with customers, for delivery issues or logistic requirements
- Maintaining a Clean working Environment
- Continuously develop the efficiency of the warehouse

**The CANDIDATE**

To be successful with this on-going position you must have:

- Driving Licence & be able to commute to and from our site.
- Previous warehouse experience & Fork Lift Truck Licence needed.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written & computer literate
- GCSE in Maths & English.
- General understanding of electrics would be advantageous but not essential
- Confident in the use of Electric hand tools
- Prepared to move around the Warehouse and do a variety of jobs
- Ability to use own initiative and to work with little supervision

Pay: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
