**Key responsibilities and duties for the Purchasing Coordinator**:

- Raise purchase orders within specific supplier categories, scheduling orders and ensuring optimal inventory levels.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding POs and delivery information.
- Produce KPI reports for the Purchasing Manager.
- Identify areas of improvement in the supply chain, making suggestions or recommendations as appropriate.
- Communicate with the Stores and Purchasing departments to deal with all queries in a timely manner.
- Help implement and maintain an effective stocktaking system.
- Handle invoice queries and inform the finance team of any discrepancies or inaccuracies.
- Any other general administrative duties as required.

**Key skills and experience required for the Purchasing Coordinator**:

- Experience in a similar role and environment.
- A self-challenging individual who strives for efficiency, with excellent attention to detail
- Strong IT proficiency
- Previous experience using Epicor ERP system highly advantageous but not essential.
- Able to work as part of a team to ensure targets are achieved, and maintain an organised and tidy working environment
- Ability to take ownership of the role and develop new relationships
- Reliable, with a strong work ethic

**All responses will be managed in accordance with GDPR.**

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Burton Latimer: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Purchasing: 1 year (preferred)
