We** **are recruiting for the exciting NEW role of **Nights Guest Service Assistant** at the **Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport.**

This position will be full time, from 1st April 2024

40 hours a week, working five days out of seven.

10.45pm - 07.15am

Reporting into the Night Manager, you will be responsible for a warm welcome for our Guests and dealing with any requests they might have throughout the night. Ensuring that all brand standards are adhered to and that excellent standards of customer service are delivered at all times.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- To assist Night Manager with operations of the Nights team.
- To assist in positively promoting sales within the department and maximize every sales opportunity
- Food & Beverage service (food and drinks preparation)
- Process Payments
- Maintaining cleanliness of restaurant and workstation
- To ensure all guests receive a genuine, warm, friendly, courteous welcome on arrival and during their stay.
- To anticipate guests needs whenever possible to enhance quality service and in turn enhance guest satisfaction.
- Reception duties
- To ensure that the highest possible standard of personal hygiene, dress, appearance, body language and conduct is always maintained.
- To be familiar with and adhere to all rules and regulations of the hotel with specific regard to: Fire procedures, Health and Safety at work, Security regulations.
- To conduct the Night Audit.

**Requirements**:

- 6 - 12 months experience in a similar role.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to oversee & delegate work to others.
- A warm, friendly and approachable personality when dealing with fellow staff and guests.
- The ability to work on their own initiative, as well as being capable of working as part of a team.
