We are a growing family run business dealing in food importing, manufacture and distribution for the past 20 years.

We supply many large distributors and brands with our food products but also do a large amount of retail sales and our turnover is growing year on year. We work with a fully computerised order management and accounting system through which all our order processing takes place and are certified SALSA, Organic and Fairtrade. We have just moved into brand new refurbished premises, a walking distance from Harrow on the Hill Station.

We are looking for a smart, highly organised, hands-on team player who can organise the daily operational activities of the business. No previous experience is necessary although experience of working in the food industry would be beneficial as would any prior experience in doing a similar job.

You will be shadowing one of the directors to understand the job requirements and will also be trained by the other members of staff. You will report to the directors directly.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Coordinating the supply chain process by making sure inbound logistics run smoothly, all documentation is prepared and correct, following up on shipping issues and planning for the warehouse staff to receive the stock. All documentation needs to be managed to comply with auditing requirements and costing calculations.
- Coordinating exports and large customer orders so that the customer receives their goods in a timely fashion and with a high level of customer service. This will include making sure the shipping documentation is correct and that they receive their invoices and statements in a timely fashion.
- Administration of all sales order and purchasing order documents in our Magento and Xero computer systems
- Ensure all business process documents are up to date to ensure that audits go smoothly. This includes attendance forms, process flows, HACCP documents etc.
- Organisation of order processing on a daily basis so the production and packing team know what their priorities are.
- Ensuring accurate stock control with the help of the production team
- Monitoring credit control and ensuring customer payments are received on time (in Xero)
- Ad hoc administration duties as required from the Directors
- Ad hoc help with the production team as required

**Requirements**:

- A willingness and ability to learn.
- Attention to detail.
- Organisation and ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent computer skills especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Dedication and reliability.
- A good level of English and eligibility to work in the UK
- A good standard of Maths
- Any experience of the food industry and processes would be beneficial but not a requirement.
- An understanding of HACCP and food safety would be beneficial but not a requirement.
- Good time and task management, ability to work to tight deadlines.

**Salary**: £29,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
