**Business Development Manager
Location: Outskirts of Chelmsford
35k - 40k + commission and car allowance
Flexible working available (after probationary period)
Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week**
Are you an experienced Business Development Manager, confident at securing new business and building relationships to enhance revenue and company growth?
Duties for this role will include but not be limited to:
- Responsible for working towards sales targets with a defined panel of Key Account Customers and New Growth prospects
- Work with clients to ensure the company is the main partner of choice with their strategic priorities in mind, maximising upcoming projects to drive revenue growth
- Responsible for oversight and to be the main point of contact for all Key Account tenders, related processes and meeting deadlines
- Self-generate appropriate new business targets across multiple industries
- Conduct regular Senior/C-level face to face business meetings together with focused pro-active telephone calls to both existing and new growth target customers
- Proactively network, promoting the brand with all Customers, Networks and associated stakeholders
- Grow product spend per customer and diversify business mix
- To work collaboratively with colleagues ensuring Customers' needs are met and expectations exceeded
To be successful you must be able to confindently engage with a range of businesses, ensuring customer relationships and retention are priority. Customer feedback can be communicated back to management, while always looking for improvements to be made. Youmust be able to effectively use the CRM system as a territory management and planning tool, plus manage your own activity levels and KPIs.
