Accounting Clerk

Crawley, United Kingdom 1FOUR1 RECRUITMENT Full time

Leading provider of cross-border services with global experience, our client, is looking to add an accounting clerk to their team as they rapidly grow.

About the role:

- To support the accounting department with accounting and secretarial tasks such as processing purchase invoices, tax refund, payroll and accounts payable
- Ensure that all invoices are paid within agreed payment terms
- Obtain approval for all expenses and bills, and organise the distribution and return of invoices.
- Preparing monthly actual vs. budget comparison report
- Ad hoc duties as defined by line manager

Qualifications and Experience:

- Experience in using SAP or equivalent system
- Accounts payable experience
- Experience of financial processes and systems
- Appropriate for someone who recently earned their AAT or ACCA certification

About You:

- Microsoft Office experience
- Working / familiarity with the SAP system
- Numerical and analytical abilities
- A fundamental knowledge of financial statements
- Ability to prioritise workloads in order to achieve service level agreements, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team/be flexible
- ACCA qualifications
