Facilities Assistant

As a Facilities Assistant, you will be working with the Facilities Manager and General Affairs department to ensure that the building and environment is maintained to a high standard, undertake minor site maintenance tasks and knowledge of emergency evacuationprocedures and Health & Safety.
**Main roles and responsibilities**
- Assist with maintaining the property to an acceptable condition utilising the approved external M&E, ensuring that the site is always fully operational.
- Carry out building, office & meeting room checks on a daily basis, ensuring any issues are dealt with in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Responsible for external contractors Ensure attending contractors onsite have authority to work and have provided the correct health and safety documentation to commence work.
- Organization of office and welfare arrangements
- Act as point of contact for company departments and contractors ensuring lines of communication are maintained and regularly monitored.
- Internal office and furniture moves.
- Manage meeting room and auditorium setups and layout as required.
- Moving equipment needed for meetings and conferences as required.
- Maintain the customers asset database.
- Oversee offsite archive storage and retrieval.
- Responsible for the collection and storage of recycled materials
- Supervise office cleaning services.
- Support and assist each role withing the Facilities Manager team.
