DegreeSix Recruitment are a specialist agency working with Residential Childrens Services (Aged 7-18) with supporting those that have suffered childhood trauma, challenging behaviours, mental health and autism.

**Duties and responsibilities of a Support Worker -**
- Maintaining a safe, clean and positive living environment for the children
- Understanding and following correct safeguarding practices
- Participating in a variety of fun and engaging activities in and outside of the home
- Providing personal, domestic and emotional support

**What you’ll need to register with DegreeSix**:

- Minimum of 3 months UK based Social Care experience (Essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Online update service (preferred)

Most importantly you must be caring, hard working, honest and passionate about providing the best level of care and encouraging mental and physical development of young people.

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift

**Experience**:

- Social Care: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
- DBS registered on the update service (preferred)

Work Location: In person
