The operation is fully integrated from R&D, international product approval, manufacturing production and assembly, sales and marketing, to full lifecycle support (via our Test and Maintenance Services division). In recent years the business has been undergoing an accelerating series of transformative changes including investment in new management structures and processes, new facilities and plant, a new ERP system and a torrent of new products: the business is now capitalising on this on-going investment programme and is achieving substantial rates of growth.

**The Position**

The incumbent will work for the Human Resources Manager

**The Role**

To undertake general day-to-day HR functions across the whole of the business, including, but not limited to:
2. Handle HR-related correspondence and communications

3. Compiling and maintaining HR records

4. Organizing and running employee training and development programmes

5. Liaising with the Payroll Department on attendance and timesheet management

6. Supporting the administration of our employee review process and employee satisfaction management

7. Maintenance and analysis of HR statistics including employee turnover, sickness, retention and recruitment sources data

8. Supporting our Investors-in-People processes, and the maintenance of our accreditation

9. Supporting the HR Manager in running our Apprentice School

10. Be the first point of contact for general internal and external HR queries which will include employee welfare as well as recruitment

11. Supporting the HR Manager in driving company culture

12. Supporting our employee communications processes

13. Supporting our Skills and Competencies management processes

14. Undertaking general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and office management tasks

15. Organizing company events, meetings, and employee engagement activities

16. Involvement in HR Department liaison with the other company departments

17. General departmental involvement in corporate duties and other related tasks as they occur

**The Skills and Attributes**

Detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously with:
1. Human Resource management experience

2. Good communication and interpersonal skills

3. Experience in hiring and recruitment processes

4. Experience in the use of web-based recruitment platforms for recruitment purposes

5. Competence in office productivity tools such as MS Office

6. Knowledge of HR software tools and, ideally, ERP systems

7. High standards and attention to detail

8. Be a ‘completer’ / ‘finisher’ who gets the job done themselves

9. Analytical and problem-solving skills

10. Able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion

**Additional Information on Responsibilities**

The following would be advantageous:
1. Experience with Investors-in-People

2. Qualified or part qualified CIPD

3. Basic knowledge of employment law

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
