**Health and Social Care Lecturer (Full-Time)**

Are you passionate about teaching and shaping the future of health and social care professionals? We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Health and Social Care Lecturer to join our esteemed educational institution in Oldham. This is a full-time position with an anticipated start date in September 2023.

**Responsibilities**:As a Health and Social Care Lecturer, your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students enrolled in health and social care programs. Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
Preparing and delivering engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions to students at various levels.

Developing and updating course materials, including lesson plans, assessments, and resources, to ensure relevance and alignment with industry standards.

Assessing and providing constructive feedback on student assignments, projects, and exams in a timely manner.

Mentoring and supporting students, guiding them in their academic progress and personal development.

Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the curriculum, share best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Keeping abreast of the latest developments and research in the field of health and social care, integrating new knowledge into your teaching.

Contributing to the overall success of the department and institution through active participation in meetings, committees, and other institutional activities.

**Requirements**:To be considered for this position, you should meet the following requirements:
A relevant academic qualification (minimum of a Bachelor's degree) in health and social care or a related field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.

Demonstrable experience in the health and social care sector, preferably with teaching or training experience.

A deep understanding of current practices, trends, and issues in health and social care, including legislation and regulations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.

Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.

Proficiency in using technology and learning management systems to enhance teaching and support student learning.

A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for staying updated with advancements in the field.

**Salary**: £115.00-£210.00 per day

- Monday to Friday
