**Facilities Coordinator**

Working within a supportive Facilities Management Team coordinating the smooth running of several buildings across North Yorkshire, providing services and support to staff at each site, directly contributing to enhancing the working environment.

The role is a **PART TIME, PERMANENT **position that involves the following:

- Coordinating building maintenance and facilities support services such as cleaning, security, reception, stock control, housekeeping, health & safety checks and general office management.
- Managing appropriate level projects, including budgeting, tenders and contract management.
- Providing first line facilities support to all employees across the organisation
- Providing additional support to the Head of Health, Safety and Facilities and the wider Health, Safety and Facilities teams when needed
- Opening the Head Office on a rota basis

This role of **Facilities Coordinator** will be predominantly office based although you will be driving between York sites as well as being available to unlock an office building as part of a small rota.

A hands-on approach to daily operations will be essential. Some light to medium manual handling will form part of the role, although typically as part of small works, stock control and practical changes to the environment.

There will be some opportunity to work from home and some flexibility in working hours with daily operations and service delivery remaining the focus.

**The successful applicant will have the following**:

- Experience of working in a customer focussed environment.
- Experience managing & coordinating medium sized projects
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a wide range of people at all levels and build effective relationships with stakeholders and customers.
- To skilfully manage and progress 10-20 work streams concurrently
- A practical, hands on person with strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills
- Ability to be highly organised, pro-active and take decisions in liaison with others.
- Full, valid driving licence.

**Hours - 25-30 hours/week**

**Salary - £27,300 pro rat’d**
