We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Agent to join our team at Sisk Group. As a key member of our civil engineering team, you will be responsible for the overall day-to-day supervision of our construction sites.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement site setup plans to ensure a safe and efficient construction process.
- Manage relationships with subcontractors and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental protocols.
- Oversee the preparation of site facilities and ensure that all necessary equipment is in place.
- Monitor and report on site energy and waste data to optimize resource usage.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Coordinate and prioritize site activities to meet project deadlines.
- Lead and manage a team of site staff, including foremen and other personnel.
- Communicate site requirements to the commercial team and negotiate cost-effective solutions.
- Drive project progress and ensure that all site activities are carried out in accordance with company protocols.
- Strong people management experience and knowledge of good industrial relations practices.
- Ability to deal with conflicting priorities and difficult stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction codes and practices.
- Experience of leading others and delivering medium to large-scale projects.
