**Salary: £8,277 per annum** (£18,881 full time equivalent)

**Hours**:16 hours per week - the hours will be split across to the week to a mixture of day time, evening (multiple evenings) and weekend working.

Monday afternoon's the team come together in person and the rest of the week you would have the option to work from our office or work remotely from home.

**Location**:Hybrid working at our office in Tyseley, Birmingham and remote home working

The Active Wellbeing Society (TAWS) is a community benefit society and cooperative working to develop healthy, happy communities living active and connected lives. We provide a wide range of services and programmes that support people’s mental and physical wellbeing. Services include community food support, telephone advice and listening services, physical and social activity programmes, social prescribing services and community development and engagement programmes. We also run virtual wellbeing support programmes for patients and citizens.

This role is responsible for supporting the effective delivery of virtual wellbeing activities within The Active Wellbeing Society. The postholder will be central to the delivery of the programme, ensuring the 5 ways to wellbeing model is at the heart of programme design. The Virtual Wellbeing Project Support will support the Virtual Wellbeing Project Lead to help the organisation to grow and innovate the virtual programme.

You will help build new partnerships with local and national stakeholders to develop the Virtual Wellbeing Programme. Some of our existing partners include; the Royal Orthopedic Hospital, Heartlands Hospital, GPs and very own Community Cafes and Shareshacks. You will help support the delivery of our new and exciting projects that focus on women’s health including Menopause education sessions.

Main duties

1. Support the delivery of the virtual wellbeing activity programme

2. Host and facilitate weekly sessions on a variety of virtual meeting and social media platforms

3. Support session set up and moderation of live events, and collaborate on creation of pre-recorded, on-demand wellbeing content

4. Provide a good quality experience for service users; ensuring sessions take place on time and are delivered safely

5. Support engagement work with communities and organisations

6. Work with the Health Delivery team and wider organisation to support and develop a virtual community

7. Collaborative design: support volunteers, citizens, partners and staff members in joint design and collaborative planning.

8. Innovation: ensure that the programme continues to develop and innovate.

9. Leading from the future: understand where the market is heading and support the emergence of new innovations within the project.

Knowledge, skills and experience

1. Skilled in hosting a range of online activities using a variety of platforms; Facebook, Zoom, Instagram

2. Knowledge of the barriers that exist to activity

3. Ability to demonstrate experience of working with volunteers

4. Ability to link with external agencies

5. Excellent communication skills

6. Ability to work to deadlines

7. Reliable

8. A passion for the benefits of bringing people together to improve their mental and physical wellbeing

9. A genuine passion for the wellbeing of others and a drive to improve the lives of individuals and communities

10. A flexible approach to all working practices

11. Knowledge of safeguarding practices (or a willingness to gain knowledge on this)
