**Hours**: Full time 36.5 hours per week to include occasional evening and weekend working.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Support to join our Knowledge and Insight Department at The Active Wellbeing Society. Our head office is based in Tyseley, Birmingham, and we are offering this role as part working from the office and part home working. This role is responsible for administrative and project support for the IT and Systems team which provides IT systems management and support, data and performance reporting, and supports the work of the Research and Insight team. In addition, this role will provide administrative and project support across the Knowledge and Insight Department.

This will include, maintaining the processes and necessary paperwork, computerised files and records, data collation and inputting, and effective communications across complex and multiple networks, to support the successful delivery of the projects. You should have excellent IT skills, attention to detail, time-management skills and good written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to adapt to different audiences. The role will be part of the IT and Systems team and support the IT Manager and the Assistant Director of Research and Insight.

Main Duties

2. Deliver and promote good practice in data security and equipment care.

3. Deliver helpdesk support to all Gladstone and Kinetic Insight Pro users, primarily at the point of sale, escalating support requests where appropriate.

4. Assist in the smooth running and administration of the department’s Helpdesk, including the prioritisation of issues/jobs for the team.

6. Assist in collating and inputting information into IT systems, preparing background data and compiling information in a timely and accurate manner.

8. Work closely with other team members to ensure the effective co-ordination of all projects within the Insight and Systems team.

9. Assist in project support tasks, including, management and filing of records, supporting events (planning and delivery), the production of reports, and general administrative duties.

10. Ensure that the values of The Active Wellbeing Society underpin your behaviours and work.

11. Carry out all other duties as may be reasonably assigned from time to time and within the level of this Job Description.

12. To take responsibility for your own personal and professional development, including responding constructively to internal management performance processes.

Knowledge, skills and experience

1. A proven track record of providing high quality administrative support for projects or programmes. (Essential)

2. Excellent IT skills, including, word processing, spreadsheet technology, online data entry systems, Outlook and SharePoint file systems. Specifically, competent in using of Office 365, MS Word and Excel, including, spreadsheet design, data entry and processing. (Essential)

3. Experience of collating and inputting data onto paper and IT systems from a variety of sources, to a high level of accuracy and timeliness. (Essential)

4. Demonstrable knowledge of information management processes, data protection principles and handling and recording personal data properly and safely. (Essential)

5. Excellent time management skills and attention to detail. (Essential)

6. Demonstrable ability to understand project processes and the administrative requirements to help these run smoothly. (Essential)

7. Demonstrate emotional intelligence and soft communication skills to liaise and work with multiple stakeholders and get the best of what you need from people in support of administrative processes. (Essential)

9. Ability to manage work and projects, and work flexibly to changing priorities. (Essential)
