**Job Description**:
Join an organisation dedicated to enhancing the long-term health and well being of North Birmingham residents.
As a Health & Well being (Physical Activities) Officer, you'll play a crucial role in promoting independent, active lifestyles
and reducing emergency hospital admissions through various physical activity initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and coordinate safe, inclusive projects encouraging physical activity across multiple community settings.- Develop engaging physical activities catering to diverse audiences within designated hubs.- Establish excellence in physical activities, accommodating various health levels and lifestyles.- Prioritise outreach to least active individuals and address participation barriers to reduce inequalities.- Identify opportunities to integrate physical activity into governmental strategies and community projects.- Collaborate externally to expand physical activity opportunities for local residents.- Support promotional campaigns and digital platforms promoting adult physical activity.- Monitor, evaluate, and report comprehensively on the impact of physical activity initiatives.- Gather local insights and engage with the community to understand their needs regarding physical activity.- Experience_
- Demonstrated success in delivering physical activities, health and wellbeing projects, or social prescribing services within a community or health setting.- Proficient in engaging and supporting residents/patients individually or in groups.- Proven experience in project management and performance reporting.- Skills and Qualifications_
- Sports science/health-related qualification.- Strong interpersonal, communication, and engagement skills.- Excellent organisation, planning, and project management abilities.- Proficiency in IT tools and platforms.- Knowledge_
- Up-to-date knowledge of physical activity benefits and drivers.- Understanding of the current health and adult social care landscape.- Awareness of safeguarding principles and practices.**Our Commitment**:
