We require someone immediately for photo booth training. Training will be a one-to-one session with our booth manager, running through how the booth operates. You will then take the booth home to practice putting it up and taking it down, as this makes you very familiar with the booth and gives great confidence before running a booth at your first event. Before operating a booth on your own, you will attend an event with another attendant to see how an event is managed. Then you will go out with an attendant but set the booth up yourself as part of your training, and run the event, with another attendant supervising.

This would be suitable as a second job or perfect for students needing the income. It is not full-time work, but more part-time or a second job, although can lead to a lot of work for those who want it. Although the work can be on any night of the week it is more often Friday and Saturday nights. **It is essential the applicant has a car, big enough to transport the booth (usually with back seats down) and a driving license, as they must drive and transport the booths to and from the venues.** There is heavy lifting of the 4ft booth cases which can be awkward to move, so **a good level of strength is required to lift the equipment in and out of vehicles** (and sometimes up stairs) and you will be working on your own. **Please consider this when deciding if you are suitable for this job.** We have had a number of applicants come to try this and then have been very disappointed that they simply cannot manage to lift the equipment. You will need to be good with computers/computer software as each event requires knowledge and use of the booth’s computer system.

The successful applicant/s also needs to be a people-person and can easily interact with people and control guests in and out of the booth. You would also need to be extremely reliable, you simply cannot let us down and not turn up for an event or turn up late. These events are often for weddings and planned a very long time beforehand. We look for a level of professionalism when working at each event. This is extremely important to us.

You will be working as a self-employed basis and the standard wage is £100 a shift. Most events are 3 hours although we do get some that are 4 hours. More time is needed for travel to and from the venue and for setting up the booth before the event so it could be 4.5 - 6 hours. You will get paid the next day. Most jobs are in the local area but it occasionally means as far as Teesside or Northumberland (fuel costs given as extra for longer journeys).

Would suit someone living within a close distance to Gateshead (or Chester Le Street) as the booth needs picking up from there, unless the applicant is able to keep the booth at home, which saves on a great deal of time for each event. Full training will be given. Once trained, the attendants find the work easy and often extremely good fun.

- Wages are £100 per shift
