We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join our team in Sunderland, to provide an efficient and effective HR support to the business and HR Business Partner. You will support HR activities ensuring they are in line with company policy and procedure whilst maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times.

You will be the first point of contact for any HR queries, providing advice on all areas of Employee Relations including absence management, disciplinary and grievance, and recruitment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for HR administration for the site
- Issue and coordinate new starter paperwork, ensuring right to work documentation is received, clearances and references are obtained
- Provide advice and support to Managers with regards to employee relations, including attendance/sickness management, disciplinary & grievance issues, probation / performance management
- Coordinate the end to end recruitment process for all positions including bulk recruitment
- Assist with policy and procedure changes and roll-out of such changes to the workforce
- Prepare for and participate in Department Audits as required
- Assist with departmental projects as required
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as directed by management team

**Knowledge and Experience**:

- HR generalist experience within a busy, fast paced organisation
- Working knowledge of employment legislation
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, powerpoint
- CIPD qualification

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £30,000.00 per year
