Due to the increase of treatments and care we give to patients, our professional and detailed Administration department is expanding and have a new permanent opportunity for a focused Administrator to join the team.

As part of the Patient Booking team at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Birmingham, you will provide a comprehensive administration service to the unit, ensuring that all patients are treated in a professional and courteous manner, endorsing the patient focused approach of the team. Above all, you have a natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling and want to work in an environment where the work can be hard, but also fun and rewarding.
**What you'll be doing**:
As the Booking Administrator, you will provide an efficient and effective booking service to patients. Your day to day duties will include:
- Answering telephone calls from patients, GP surgeries and other hospital staff on all aspects relating to booking appointments and referrals, distributing calls and messages.
- Providing advice in all matters relating to patient’s appointments, both by telephone and face to face.
- Booking theatre and outpatient sessions within strict booking guidelines adhering to breach dates and ensuring optimal utilisation of clinic lists.
- Using the computer system to record patient information including cancellations, DNA’s and patient’s attendance to outpatients or for theatres.
- Operating an efficient Patient Administration System (PAS) to ensure the timely and accurate recording of administrative and clinical information.
