**Responsibilities**:
1. Events Management:

- Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events, including fundraisers, workshops, open days, and community outreach programs.
- Develop event concepts, themes, and timelines, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
- Liaise with staff, vendors, suppliers, and venues to negotiate contracts, manage budgets, and ensure seamless execution of events.
- Coordinate event logistics, including staffing, volunteers, activities, catering, entertainment, programmes, signage, and transportation.
- Oversee event staffing, volunteer recruitment, and training to ensure smooth operation during events, including the weekend and holiday programme and offer.

2. Marketing and PR:

- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Elysian's programs, services, and events.
- Manage the organisation's brand identity across all platforms, including website, social media, print materials, and merchandise.
- Create engaging content, including articles, press releases, blog posts, and social media posts, to increase visibility and engagement.
- Cultivate relationships with media outlets, influencers, and community partners to secure coverage and partnerships.
- Monitor and analyse marketing metrics and campaign effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to optimise performance.

3. Revenue Generation:

- Identify and pursue opportunities to generate revenue through events, sponsorships, partnerships, and other fundraising initiatives.
- Develop sponsorship packages and proposals, pitch opportunities to potential sponsors, and manage relationships to maximise support.
- Manage budgets and financial resources related to events and marketing activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and accountability.

4. Initiative Development:

- Assess current programs and initiatives, identifying areas for improvement or expansion.
- Design and implement new initiatives, projects, and campaigns to address emerging needs and opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop innovative solutions and approaches to achieve organisational objectives.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field, or very significant experience in a relevant field
- At least 3 years of experience in events management, marketing, or PR roles, preferably in the nonprofit or education sector.
- Demonstrated success in planning and executing events of varying scale and complexity.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
- Experience in grant writing, fundraising, and revenue generation is highly desirable.
