Do you regularly use a wide variety of systems to plan, report and continuously improve processes?

Within AQA, this role is called a Preparation Coordinator. The Preparation Team are critical to the success of AQA. They support our examiners and moderators by delivering key processes that support a consistent and standardised approach to marking - always ensuring that we never let a learner down. We are looking for three new Preparation Coordinators to join this highly successful and high performing team - 2 permanent and one 6 month fixed term contract. In this role you will have the opportunity to:
work with a variety of stakeholders including, examiners and moderators, 3rd party training providers and various other AQA departments
lead on coordinating operational processes that underpin the effective and safe delivery of an exam series and provide a high level of customer support for our senior examiners and moderators
live the behaviours, values and leadership habits we wish AQA to be famous for and inspire seasonal staff/direct reports through consistently demonstrating these behaviours.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join an established and world-renowned market leader and play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of the examination sessions. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders and have the backing of a friendly and collaborative Preparation team. Please note that during peak periods you may be required to work weekends, however we recognise the value of work/life balance and always offer time off in-lieu.

You will be contracted for a 35 hour working week with 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and additional closure days at Christmas. You will have a great contributory pension (if you put in 7%, AQA will put in 11.5% giving 18.5% contribution) and private medical insurance and health care reward plan among lots of other benefits.
