We are affiliated to the Irish League of Credit Unions and abide by the standard Rules.
**Loughguile Credit Union have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our existing team as our Member Services Co-Ordinator (MSC) for a 12 month fixed term period.**
**The Role**:
- The MSC reports directly to the LCU Manager and is responsible for contributing to the efficient and effective day to day operation of all aspects of the Credit Union, by providing a high level of service to Members, and contributing to the development and growth of the Credit Union. The MSC will also be expected to support the LCU Manager through involvement with compliance requirements and any other function necessary for the smooth running of LCU.
**The Person **- We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive individual who is committed to achieving high standards. As a role model within the team, this individual will be required to have strong communication skills (both verbal and listening) and have a positive attitude to their work, colleagues, and workplace. This individual should also be a team player, who is adaptable, willing, and able to work on their own initiative.
**Essential Criteria**:
- Minimum of 5 GCSE's (or equivalent) grades A-C including Math’s and English.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport.
- Strong organisational, administrative skills and numerical skills demonstrating attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Able to work flexible hours to ensure business needs are met.
**Desirable Criteria**:
- Excellent customer service skills and demonstrable experience of managing customer expectations.
- Minimum of 2 A Levels (or equivalent) or higher qualification.
- Knowledge of Credit Union principles and ethics.
- Minimum of 1 years' experience cash handling/accounting and lodgements in a financial services/banking organisation gained within the last 5 years.
- Understanding of compliance, data protection and credit control
**Salary**: £22,425 - £22,971 (pro rata based on 37.5hr week and dependent on experience) 20 days annual leave plus 10 customary holidays (pro rata)
