**The role**
This role is an extremely exciting opportunity to support our Immingham office with their day to day operational requirements.

We are looking for someone who has either already worked in an export or import role or would be looking to start their career in the logistics industry.

In this role you will be responsible for completing processing road, air and sea shipments for our customers completing bookings with shipping lines, agents and haulier’s. Delivering outstanding service to our customers is everything to us so you will make sure you are tracking and communicating all updates to customers, making sure their shipments arrive on time and informing them of any delays.

You would also be responsible for all aspects of customs clearance processes on all import and export jobs as well as allocating suppliers’ invoices and sales invoicing.

We are looking for someone who can come in and hit the ground running, take ownership for their duties day to day and is comfortable working in a fast paced environment supporting us with our growth.

Whilst having previous experience in a similar role would be desirable, it isn’t essential. We will teach you everything you need to know to be successful in this role.

We offer a competitive salary range of £23,000 - £27,000 dependant on experience.

We are open Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm. We are a really friendly, professional and collaborative team and are looking for someone who shares the same values as we do supporting us to deliver the very best for everyone we work with.

**What you’ll be able to offer**
- Experience of working in a freight forwarding role would be desirable but is not essential
- Experience of logistics and customs process would be desirable but is not essential
- Experience of working in an import or export role would be desirable but is not essential
- Previous experience of working in an office environment is essential
- Extremely organised with a high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well under pressure and able to work to tight deadlines
- Strong competency with Microsoft excel
- High IT literacy skills
- Outstanding customer service skills
- The ability to develop and build strong relationships over the phone
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a strong team player
- Accountability to yourself and others
