**Trainee HR Advisor - WFH 4 days**

Our client in the industrial sector is looking to recruit an HR Officer to train as an HR Advisor for a permanent role. There is the opportunity to WFH for 4 days but there will be travel to sites around Scotland on occasion.
The purpose of the role is to support the businesses in operational delivery of the people plan and supporting the business in employee relations - disciplinary, grievance, sickness/ welfare, performance management, conduct and capability, recruitment, training,colleague engagement etc. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner the responsibilities for the role are:

- Developing a knowledge of HR processes and procedures e.g. Disciplinary and Grievance by supporting the Snr HRBP and line managers with hearing preparation, post hearing outcome notes and letters
- Developing a knowledge of the Company's sickness absence processes and procedures supporting the Snr HR BP, other members of the HR team and line managers
- Provide assistance to the Snr HRBP, other members of the HR team with the administration of the performance and development process
- Deal with and provide answers to routine HR queries referring to other members of the team where there is any doubt/ambiguity on the right solution.
- Update the HR database as and when required and in line with GDPR
- Co-ordinate well-being programme and activities
- Work with line managers and other members of the HR team on diversity and Inclusion goals
- Understand the business goals and aid the HR team and line managers with the Performance Review process, following through where PDRs have not been completed
- Provide support to central HR Administration team on occassion if required
- Assist the Snr HR BP and other members of the HR team with the annual pay and bonus process by undertaking market research on RPI, Market Benchmarking
- Undertake project work as and when required such as, Colleague engagement surveys and action planning.

- A strong desire to learn and develop
- Team player - collaborative and supportive of colleagues.

In return you will receive a salary of between £26,000-£30,000 (depending on experience) plus benefits including discretionary bonus of up to 20%. The hours are 36.75 hours with an early finish Friday every second week.
