**Human Resources Advisor**

**LOCATION Glenrothes: Hybrid**

**40 HOURS PER WEEK Working: Monday - Friday**

**EDUCATION: CIPD Level 5 certificate or equivalent**

**Role Overview**

As a HR Advisor you will perform a wide range of analytical, problem solving and consultative support activities. The role provides day to day HR support utilising consulting and influencing skills to deliver high quality decisions as well as influence change and drive process improvements. Supporting the employee life cycle with specific focus on employee relations, absence management and learning and development.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Provide advice and support to managers and employees on all employment issues, including the interpretation of employment policies and practices.
- Lead on a small caseload of employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary matters, and absence management. Coach line managers and support decision making in line with best practice, legislation and organisation policy.
- Support the performance management process by providing advice on probation periods, and performance improvement plans. Collaborate with managers to address performance-related issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of performance management processes.
- Support with the planning and delivery of training and development activities.
- Support initiatives aimed at promoting employee engagement, wellbeing and retention.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process. Participate in the selection process through screening calls and interviews. Contribute to the development and delivery of onboarding programs to ensure a smooth integration of new employees into the organisation.
- Work closely with the HRBP for Europe, supporting the implementation and maintenance of people plans. Assisting where appropriate with talent development and change management.
- Assist with the administration of compensation and benefits as appropriate. Including, benchmarking/researching new or alternative incentives in line with business objectives.
- Support, contribute and where appropriate lead, on HR related projects to add value to the business.
- Keep abreast of relevant employment legislation and industry best practices to ensure practice and approach remains complaint and in line with best practice.
- Support the maintenance of HR Information and systems in line with legislation.
- Generate HR reports and analytics as needed.
- Assist with other HR administrative tasks as required.

**What you’ll have**:

- CIPD level 5 or equivalent qualification in Human Resource Management - preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor or similar role.
- Sound knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Previous experience of HR project work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
