Customer Service Coordinator

Red is recruiting for a Customer Service Coordinator to join a company which administers and manages medical claims for UK corporate healthcare schemes. Located in central Bristol, this position contains many benefits.
**Benefits and Package for a Customer Service Coordinator**:
- **Salary**:£23,000 per annum (DOE)
- **Hours**:35 hours per week
Monday - Friday, shifts between 8am - 6pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8am - 1pm (Saturday shifts will be paid time and a half)
- **Contract Type**:Permanent
- **Location**: Broad Quay House, Bristol City Centre
- Pension Plan

**Key Responsibilities of a Customer Service Coordinator**:
- Answering incoming calls promptly and within SLA's, providing the highest level of customer service at all times
- Ensuring treatment that is delivered is relevant and appropriate by monitoring ongoing treatment plans for members in liaison with the Clinical Support Team
- Obtaining medical evidence from providers to substantiate claims decision/treatment
- Dealing with provider queries in relation to clinical treatment or pre-authorisation requests
- Liaising with all members of the healthcare team, and the client to ensure that all parties have the relevant information
**Key Skills and Experience of a Customer Service Coordinator**:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
- Previous experience within a claims background is desirable
- Good knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Able to work well both independently and as part of a team
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is required
